These, so called, AT&T reps are knocking on my door again. They were here pushing the same thing no more than a month ago.
I don't like it for the following reasons:
"Right of the bat", he ask if I'm Anthony Mims, which I am. Where are these guys getting my personal information from, I'm not listed and these guys are independent contractors that don't actually work for AT&T. They just go around and try to sign people up for stuff you don't need and get commissions from it. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Second thing, I didn't like. This visit and the last visit were both gentlemen whom I have no idea who they are and they are knocking on my door at night. It was after 8pm both times and black outside. That's not right.
Third thing, Not only was the gentleman last night very pushy, after I answered yes to whether or not I use the internet, he started to really really push the fact that AT&T uses fiber-optics and how much better it is than cable. I told him that "yes, fiber-optics are great and they've been working for me fine since Time Warner installed it 10 years ago and that I'm happy that they finally got around to the 20th century technology."
I just wanted to give you all a "heads up"
Anthony
